The 9th edition of the India International Science Festival (IISF) 2023 is being held at Faridabad, Haryana at the Campus of Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) and Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB) of Department of Biotechnology. It aims to foster creativity in Science, Technology and Innovation for the advancement of prosperous India.
About IISF
It has been organised since 2015 with an aim to commemorate the world of science, making it accessible to all.
It is the largest science festival which brings together and connects all the segments of society.
It is a collaborative endeavour between Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Earth Sciences, Department of Space and Department of Atomic Energy in partnership with Vijnana Bharati. Vijnana Bharati is a science movement spearheaded by scientists of the nation with swadeshi spirit.
About 9th IISF 2023
Objectives: It aims to celebrate the achievements of India in the frontier areas of science and technology. It also seeks to acknowledge the achievements of science enthusiasts and inculcate scientific temper among young students and spread the same among the Indian citizens.
